School construction is a big undertaking for many private schools. This was the case for the John W. Lavelle Preparatory Charter School in Staten Island. With a growing student roster and a new need for additional classrooms, the school needed to be conscious of both timing and funds, which led them in the direction of Modular Classrooms.
Cassone worked very closely with charter school officials on the classroom specifications and needs of the school which would determine the proper amount of space needed for students. A plan for a four-unit complex was put together to create the new space with the amenities that students and teacher needed, including an abundance of windows, coded bathrooms, easy entrances and exits, etc.
